38 candidates in fray for 1st Phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar

In Bihar, a total of 38 candidates are in the fray for the First Phase of Lok Sabha elections in the four parliamentary constituencies of Gaya, Nawada, Jamui and Aurangabad. On the last day of withdrawal of names today, one nomination paper in Gaya parliamentary constituency was rejected due to concealing of criminal antecedent and false affidavit by a candidate. In the other three parliamentary constituencies no candidate withdrew their nomination papers. Maximum 14 candidates are in the fray in Gaya Lok Sabha segment followed by 09 in Aurangabad and 08 in Nawada. 07 candidates will contest in Jamui Lok Sabha parliamentary segment.  Polling will be held on 19th April in all these four Lok Sabha segments.
