A case of molestation of the daughter of Union Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse has come to light in Jalgaon, Maharashtra. Khadse has lodged a police complaint against the accused youths. He said that during the fair in Muktainagar area of Jalgaon district, some youths molested his daughter and her friends. The police have arrested one of the accused and the team has been dispatched in search of the rest.
Raksha Khadse told reporters in Muktainagar on Sunday, ‘Sant Muktai Yatra is taken out in our area every year on the occasion of Mahashivaratri. Two days ago my daughter went to travel. After the girls sat on the swing, the boys started making videos of them. When the guard saw this, he stopped the boys. When the guard seized and investigated the mobile, the boys started beating him. Such an incident is happening when police officers are in uniform with girls. I have spoken to the Chief Minister. He has also instructed the Superintendents of Police.
SDPO Krishnat Pingale reported that there was a visit on 28 February 2025 in Kothali village of Muktainagar Taluka. Aniket Ghoi of Muktainagar city and his 6 friends were participating in the journey. In the same journey, Aniket Ghoi and his friends chased 3-4 girls and molested them. Therefore, we have registered a case of chase, molestation and have imposed sections of the IT Act along with the POCSO Act. One accused has been arrested and three teams have been sent to apprehend the remaining accused.
On the incident of molestation, Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis said, ‘There are some party officials who have done such work. This is a poor act, the police have registered a case and some people have also been arrested. Such torture is wrong, they cannot be forgiven and strict action will be taken against them.

Talking to reporters, former minister of defense, former minister Eknath Khadse said, ‘The police have received many complaints against these youths before. These boys are vicious criminals. Crimes against women have increased in Maharashtra. Criminals are not afraid of police. Girls do not come forward to file a complaint. Parents believe that their daughters’ names should not be disclosed. We complained because we had no option left.
