Aditya Thackeray announced to work with any party for the benefit of Maharashtra and Marathi people

Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray airing the growing speculation of potential reunion with his cousin Raj Thackeray before the local body elections in the state, after which party leader and MLA Aditya Thackeray has heated the market of rumors.The statement came a few days after former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray addressed speculation with his cousin Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), in which he said, “What is in the heart of Maharashtra will be the same.”
Addressing reporters on Sunday, Uddhav’s son Aditya said, “We have been saying this continuously. We are ready to work with any person, any party who is ready to work in the interest of Maharashtra and Marathi speaking people.” Targeting the BJP, he accused the ruling party of “swallowing Mumbai and Maharashtra” and doing injustice to the state.

Will Thackeray’s cousin join hands?
Repeating Uddhav Thackeray’s previous comments, Raj Thackeray earlier said that it is not difficult to unite for the Marathi community. However, Uddhav has clarified that reconciliation will have to ignore “trivial issues” and dismiss those who work against the interests of Maharashtra.Aditya said, “Our responsibility is to change.” “Any party that is working to protect the interests of Maharashtra should come together and fight.”
Cousin, who was once close, split up almost two decades ago after ideological and political differences. However, his recent statements have rejoined the discussion of possible political regenerations in Maharashtra.
 
Meanwhile, on Sunday, Uddhav held a meeting of leaders to review the ground situation. He asked the party leaders to take the program to voters and citizens and organize the ceremony. He said, “Our party workers and leaders should be seen contacting people at the ground level and raising their voice on their issues.”

Let both brothers talk, Amit Thackeray on speculation of alliance
Commenting on the increasing discussion over a possible alliance between Uddhav and Raj Thackeray, MNS leader Amit Thackeray said on Friday that such cases should not be decided through public statements. He insisted that only direct talks between the two leaders can reach a meaningful result.
Amit said, “Only both brothers should talk. Our comment on this matter will not change anything.” He said, “I have no objection to joining him, but I have seen a similar conversation in 2014 and 2017.” He said, citing the previous unsuccessful efforts of the Shiv Sena-Mana alliance. He said that party workers of both political parties are pressurizing their leaders to unite again.
