The Center on Sunday announced the names of members of seven delegations, including political leaders, MPs and former ministers of various parties, who will visit the world capitals to put forward India’s resolve to deal with terrorism in the backdrop of ‘Operation Sindoor’. The delegations are led by Baijayant Panda, Ravi Shankar Prasad (both BJP), Sanjay Kumar Jha (JDU), Srikanth Shinde (Shiv Sena), Shashi Tharoor (Congress), Kanimoi (DMK) and Supriya Sule (NCP-SP). He will visit the headquarters of the European Union located in a total of 32 countries and Belgian Brussels.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri informed a parliamentary committee on Monday on the Indo-Pakistan military conflict after the Pahalgam terror attack. Under the chairmanship of Congress MP Shashi Tharoor, Abhishek Banerjee of Trinamool Congress, Rajiv Shukla of Congress, Rajiv Shukla and Deepender Hooda, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Aparajita Sarangi and Arun Govil participated in the meeting of Parliament’s Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs.
