Prime Minister Modi said in the security meeting that the armed forces have complete exemption to decide the way of India’s response, target and time. Narendra Modi said that the armed forces have complete operational freedom to set a way to India’s reaction, goal and time. Government sources said that they expressed full confidence and trust in the professional capabilities of the Indian Armed Forces. This has happened at a time when security concerns have increased after the Pahalgam terror attack, in which 26 people lost their lives.
Meanwhile, in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, there are intensive anti-terrorism campaigns at several places in Jammu and Kashmir, sources familiar with the case told ANI. According to sources, no special updates are being shared at this level due to the sensitive nature of ongoing campaigns. On Monday, the Jammu and Kashmir Police raided 13 places in Doda district to demolish terrorist bases and take action against terrorist activities.

On the other hand, Union Home Secretary Govind Mohan presided over a high -level meeting on Tuesday in which heads of three paramilitary forces and senior officials of two other security organizations attended. Sources gave this information. The meeting has been held amidst the stressful atmosphere arising after the Pahalgam terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. 26 people were killed in this attack, mostly tourists. Sources said that the meeting was attended by Border Security Force (BSF) Director General (DG) Daljit Singh Chaudhary, National Security Guard (NSG) Director General Brigu Srinivasan and Assam Rifles Director General Vikas Lakhera.
