Amid reports of separation between Indian tennis sensation Sania Mirza and Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik, Pakistani political leader Firdous Ashiq Awan has claimed that she always had a gut feeling that the marriage might not last. During her appearance on a chat show, Firdous shared that she had attended the lavish wedding of the couple and recalled telling Pakistani cricketer Shoaib Malik that he had been ‘stuck’ badly. The politician further mentioned that her intuition was based on the situation she saw on the wedding day, which made her think that this marriage wouldn’t last. ‘Jab tak Mohabbat ka bhoot sawar hai yeh chaly ga’, joked Firdaus. She further said that despite choosing a neutral country, Dubai, to live with their son Izhaan, Shoaib and Sania’s marital bond could not get better. Meanwhile, the couple to date have refrained from commenting on their rumoured separation, however, Malik recently fueled the rumours after he deleted the reference to Sania Mirza from his Instagram bio, leaving the fans worried. He removed ‘Husband to a superwoman Sania Mirza’ from his Instagram bio. Sania and Shoaib got married to each other in 2010 and are parents to a son. For more news and updates, stay tuned to ETimes.
