Newly elected Chief Minister of Haryana Nayab Singh Saini was unanimously elected as the leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) legislature party. Former Haryana Chief Minister and Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar and former Minister of State Anil Vij proposed Saini’s name in the legislature party meeting held in Panchkula, Haryana. After being elected leader of Haryana BJP Legislative Party, Saini will take oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana for the second time tomorrow on October 17. Addressing the meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah said that Haryana has created history by proving the country’s political pundits wrong and forming the BJP government for the third consecutive time.
