Vijay Hazare Trophy has started, where Anmolpreet Singh of Punjab has done a big feat in the very first match. Actually, Anmolpreet Singh has become the fastest Indian to score a List A century. He achieved this feat against Arunachal Pradesh at Narendra Modi Stadium Ground A in Ahmedabad. Anmolpreet thrashed the bowlers of Arunachal Pradesh. He played an important role in helping Punjab win by 9 wickets with the help of 12 fours and 9 sixes.

Anmolpreet completed his century in just 35 balls. This is the third fastest century in List A. Australia’s Jake Fraser-McGurk and South Africa’s AB de Villiers are at the first and second positions in this list. Jake took 29 balls and AB de Villiers is at first and second place in this list. Jake scored a century in 29 balls and AB scored a century in 31 balls. Earlier, the record for the fastest century scored by an Indian was in the name of Yusuf Pathan, he scored a century in 20 balls while playing for Baroda against Maharashtra in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in 2009-10.

Punjab had to achieve the target of 165 runs in 50 overs and Anmolpreet Singh scored most of the runs. Anmolpreet Singh was seen playing explosive shots. He completed his century in 35 balls and returned unbeaten after scoring 115 runs. Punjab achieved the target in just 12.5 overs.
