Age Limit
- IMA: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 January 1999 and not later than 1 January 2004 are eligible.
- Officers Training Academy: (SSC Course for Men) Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 January 1998 and not later than 1 January 2004 are eligible.
- Officers Training Academy: (SSC Women Non-Technical Course) Unmarried women, exonerated widows who have not remarried, and unmarried divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. He should not be born before 2 January 1998 and after 1 January 2004.
- Air Force Academy: 20 to 24 years as on 1 January 2023 i.e. not earlier than 2 January 1999 and not later than 1 January 2003 Relaxation in upper age limit up to 26 years for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) .
- Indian Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2 January 1999 and not later than 1 January 2004 are eligible.

Educational Qualifications of UPSC CDS Exam 2024
- I.M.A. & Officers Training Academy, Chennai: Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- Air Force Academy: Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.
- Indian Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
