AAP convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Brahm Singh Tanwar, who is a prominent figure in Delhi politics, has joined AAP today. He has served and continues to serve as MLA from Chhatarpur and Mehrauli.

Political developments have intensified in the national capital ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections to be held in February 2025. A major change has taken place in the city with the appointment of AAP’s Atishi as Chief Minister after Arvind Kejriwal. Amidst all this, months after sitting AAP MLA from Chhatarpur Kartar Singh Tanwar quit the party, an intra-political development came to light on Thursday when a former BJP MLA from the same constituency joined the Aam Aadmi Party.

Speaking on this, AAP convenor and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said that Brahm Singh Tanwar, who is a prominent figure in Delhi politics, has joined AAP today. He has served and continues to serve as MLA from Chhatarpur and Mehrauli. He has played an important role in the development of Delhi for the last 50 years. Today he left BJP and joined Aam Aadmi Party.

Furthermore, Tanwar, while explaining his move, said that he was inspired by Arvind Kejriwal and felt that he could contribute more to Delhi’s progress with AAP. Brahm Singh Tanwar said, “I felt that I would be able to work more effectively for Delhi in AAP. Besides, I was inspired by Arvind Kejriwal, due to which I joined this party.”
