Out of the total 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly, BJP won the election by winning 48 seats while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) got 22 seats. Elections were announced on 7 January 2025 and the polling process ended on 8 February.

The BJP, which came to power after 27 years in Delhi, spent a total of Rs 57.65 crore in the 2025 assembly elections, while after 10 years of rule, AAP spent Rs 14.51 crore during the election period. According to the details given by the parties to the Election Commission, the Congress, which did not win a single seat for the second consecutive time in Delhi, spent a total of Rs 46.19 crore in the assembly elections held in January-February this year.

AAP received a total of Rs 16.10 crore during the Delhi election polling process. The Congress spent a total of Rs 46.19 crore, including general expenditure of Rs 40.13 crore on party campaign and Rs 6.06 crore on party candidates.
