Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has said that his goal is to make the state poverty free by 2029. He said that those who have achieved financial success through government policies should come forward and help the underprivileged, they should help in every way. He said this while inaugurating the program “Matsyakara Sewalo” (in the service of fishermen) in Amela constituency of Srikakulam district yesterday.

Naidu said that he has started a program, in which advisors will widely guide and uplift the poor. Naidu said that if the economically affluent people help poor families in every possible way, then there will be no inequality in the society. The Chief Minister interacted directly with fishermen at Budgatalapalem in Amela constituency. As part of the program, he informed that financial assistance of Rs 20,000 is being provided during the period of ban on fishing.

In addition, to support children’s education, Naidu announced that from next month, every student would get Rs 15,000 under Talli’s Vandanam scheme. At the same time, Naidu while addressing the annual summit of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) said that India should strengthen its global product manufacturing capabilities and avoid getting caught in a moderate income trap. He said, “Today we are the fourth largest economy. We will become the third largest economy in the next two years. We have no competition till reaching the third place. But the real competition has now started.”
