On Friday, in Jehanabad police station area of ​​Pilibhit district, a class five student going to school was allegedly forced to drink poisonous substance by three youths riding a motorcycle and fled from the spot. Police gave this information.

According to the police, Ram Gopal, a resident of village Suswar in the area, informed the police that when his niece Anshika was going to school at around 8.30 am on Friday, three youths riding a motorcycle stopped her near JMB College and forcibly gave her poison. Gave the substance to drink.

City area police officer (CO) Deepak Chaturvedi said that the matter is related to a land dispute. He told that the victim’s father had a dispute with his uncle regarding the distribution of land and due to this enmity, three accused youths carried out this incident. He said that the matter is being investigated.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Avinash Pandey said that after the incident, investigation is being done to collect evidence based on the analysis of CCTV footage and four teams have been formed.

He said that once the truth of the incident is proven, action will be taken against the accused. According to the police, the student has been admitted to a private hospital in critical condition. According to doctors, his condition remains stable.
