His party ‘Democratic Center’ issued a statement calling the incident “unacceptable act of violence”. His party reported that the incident took place in a park in Fontibon when armed attackers shot the MP from behind.
In the photographs broadcast on social media, blood -soaked Uribe can be seen holding by many people. Probably he has suffered an injury to his head. No official information has been shared about the senator’s condition yet.
