A court official said that the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Senior Special Judge has issued warrants in two cases of irregularities in allocation of plot in Purvanchal New Town, keeping in mind the accused of Anti -Corruption Commission (ACC). According to the prosecution counsel, most of the accused were government officials.

The court ordered the police that if the former Prime Minister and other accused have been arrested, the report should be submitted on April 29. The official said that Judge Zakir Hussain directed the officers in charge of more than a dozen police stations to submit a progress report on the implementation of their order till the relevant date in Dhaka and other parts of the country.

On the occasion of Bengali New Year Pohela Boishkh, Bangladesh’s overseas Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that anti -freedom forces have illegally captured power to destroy the secular culture of the country. 77 -year -old Hasina, who was living in India, appealed to the people to exclude those who grab power. He said that even in the past, the anti-independence forces took power, they attacked Wangla culture, heritage and history. He appealed to everyone to adopt cultural diversity and present a war to Wangladesh and then proudly on the world stage.
