CPCB data showed that at least five stations were in the ‘severe’ category at 8 am on Tuesday. This included Wazirpur (424) and Jahangirpuri (417). Delhi’s overall AQI reached ‘very poor’ category on October 30 and has remained in this category since then. This season it has not yet reached the ‘severe’ category. Meanwhile, the minimum temperature in the capital remains above normal. The minimum temperature on Tuesday was 17.9 degrees Celsius – four degrees above normal and 0.7 degrees Celsius higher than Monday. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 33 degrees Celsius. A day earlier it was 32.4 degrees Celsius.
