Washington. The team leading the presidential election campaign of former US President Donald Trump said on Saturday that his emails have been hacked. The team claimed that people from Iran are involved in stealing and disseminating these sensitive internal documents. Although the team leading the campaign did not provide any direct evidence of Iran’s involvement, its claim came after Microsoft released a report. This report details the efforts of foreign agents to interfere in the US campaign in 2024.

Iran’s mission to the United Nations denied involvement when asked about the Trump campaign’s claim. “We do not place any credence to such reports,” the mission said. “The Iranian government has no intention or motive to interfere in the US presidential election and it does not intend to do so,” the mission said.
