Outgoing President Joe Biden has invited newly elected President Trump for a meeting at the White House on November 13. After this meeting, the process of formally handing over the climate to the ruling party will begin. This meeting is formal and is a decades-old tradition. The meeting usually takes place in the ‘Oval Office’.
Donald Trump, who became the President of America for the second time, has refused to include Mike Pompeo and Indian-origin Nikki Haley in his government again. Trump made this announcement on his social media platform Tooth Social. He said in the post that I will not invite former Ambassador Nikki Haley or former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to join the Trump administration, which is currently in the process of being formed. Pompeo served as CIA director and secretary of state during Trump’s first term, while Haley served as ambassador to the UN for the first two years of the Trump administration.
Later, both of them ran for president in the Republican primary against Trump. However, Pompeo soon withdrew her candidacy and Haley was a candidate until February this year. Trump also announced the formation of a committee to plan his swearing-in ceremony to be held on January 20, 2025, and other events.
