The driver died alive due to a collision with a pickup van on Saturday night in Kadar Chowk police station area of Badaun district and the car was burnt to death.
In the accident, the cylinder exploded in the car caused the police and four other people riding the car. Police gave this information. Police said that in the Kadar Chouk police station area of Badaun, a face-to-face collision between an eco car and a pickup vehicle at around 9 pm on Saturday night caught fire in the car and the car driver died by burning.
He said that while taking out four people in the car, the CNG cylinder of the car exploded, which scorched the four people, including a police and a soldier.
The police sent the body for autopsy. The injured have been admitted to the district hospital for treatment. Inspector (SHO) in-charge of Thana Kadar Chowk, Udayveer Singh said that at around 9 o’clock tonight there was a face-to-face collision between a pickup vehicle and an eco car near Kakoda village on Ujhani road of the police station area.
After the accident, the car fell into a roadside ditch and caught fire. The SHO said that on receiving the information of the incident, Daroga Awadhesh Kumar Singh and constable Sahadev Kumar, posted at the police station Kadar Chowk, barely took out the people in the car with the help of passers -by.
He said that after this, as soon as the inspector and the soldier tried to take out the car driver, the CNG cylinder in the car suddenly burst, due to which the soldiers and the policeman also got badly burnt. The fire party reached the information on the information.
Singh said that by the arrival of the fire brigade’s car, the car was burnt to ashes. The SHO said that the car driver could not be identified yet, but its owner has been detected based on the car’s number.
