The results of Delhi University Students Union elections have come. This time NSUI has shown good performance. Let us tell you that this time 21 candidates contested the elections, out of which 9 are women.
Let us tell you that, out of total 1,45,893 voters from 52 colleges, about 51,300 students have voted in DUSU Elections 2024. At the same time, ABVP has been ruling DUSU for the last 10 years. However, this year a tough contest is being seen between ABVP and NSUI. It is noteworthy that last year ABVP had won 3 posts including that of President. But now, NSUI has won the posts of President and Joint Secretary. Raunak Khatri has won the post of President and Lokesh has won the post of Joint Secretary. Whereas, ABVP’s Bhanu Pratap has won the post of Vice President. ABVP’s Mritrananda won the post of Secretary.

Meanwhile, Delhi University has received the signed affidavits of all the candidates contesting the student union elections. In this affidavit, after the results are declared, candidates have been prevented from playing drums or loudspeakers, bursting crackers and not distributing pamphlets. The affidavit states that after victory, the candidates will not be able to hold road shows or rallies. Candidates who do not follow these conditions may have their victory canceled or may even be removed from the post.
