Eid ul Fitr being observed with religious fervour and gaiety in J&K

In Jammu and Kashmir, Eid ul Fitr  is being observed today with religious fervour and gaiety. The auspicious festival marks the culmination of the fasting month of holy Ramazan by offering thanksgiving prayers to Almighty God. People are seen offering prayers at various Masjids this morning across the Kashmir Valley.

 

Meanwhile, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has greeted the people on the occasion of Eid ul Fitr. He said the auspicious occasion marks the culmination of the pious month of Ramzan and symbolizes brotherhood, unity, compassion, harmony and the spirit of sharing.

 

Mr Sinha hoped that the festival inspires us to dedicate ourselves to the service of humanity and bring good health, happiness and prosperity in the lives of everyone.
