According to the Dhaka Tribune, the protesters broke the chain of the famous global brand as they were considered associated with Israel.

Some protesters were seen holding Nazi flags, showing hatred towards Israel, who according to them are acting like fascist. The protesters were seen stone pelting at the Teacher Student Center (TSC) of Dhaka University, along with the posters of Indian Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah and US President Donald Trump were attacked with slippers. Posters of former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina of the country were also fired with ink and other products to show hatred. Those who raised the slogans of ‘Israel Zindabad’ were beaten by Palestinian supporters.
