Five people died and seven were injured in two road accidents in Khargone and Morena districts of Madhya Pradesh. Police gave this information on Sunday. Sub-Inspector Shriram Bhuria of Khargone Kotwali police station said that there was a collision between a sports utility vehicle (SUV) and a van near the PWD office in Khargone at around 7 am on Sunday.
He said that two people present in the van, Ramlal (50) and Shobharam (49), died on the spot while five people were injured. Bhuria told that only one person was sitting in the SUV.
He said that ‘SDM’ (Sub Divisional Magistrate) was written on the number plate of the vehicle. Answering the question asked in this regard, the police officer said that only after investigation it will be known whose vehicle it is.
Police said that two speeding motorcycles collided in Morena on Saturday night, resulting in the death of three people and serious injuries to two others. An official of Sabalgarh police station said that the incident took place near Pipalwadi police post, about 60 km from Morena district headquarters.
He said that motorcycle riders Bishu (65) and Sachin (22) died on the spot while a person named Santosh (28) died during treatment. The official said that two people were seriously injured in this accident and they have been shifted from Sabalgarh Government Hospital to Morena District Hospital.
