Following several years of diplomatic tussle and legal hurdles, one of the main accused of the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks was finally extradited to India. Pakistan -born Canadian businessman reached New Delhi from the United States last week and is currently being interrogated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). The Chief conspirator of the Mumbai terror attacks, Tawwur Hussain Rana, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) officials are interrogating eight to ten hours daily to detect a large conspiracy of the attacks. Official sources said that NIA officials are undergoing medical examination of Rana and he is being allowed to meet the lawyer. The court sent Rana to 18 days custody on Friday morning after extradition from the US.

Quran, pen and paper
Sources said that Rana is cooperating during interrogation. He told that Rana has asked for only three things so far a pen, paper and Quran – which has been made available to him. Rana can use pen, but only soft tip pen. He has been given a pen-paper. Sources say that the new five is Namaji of the time. He said that no special demand related to food has been made by Rana so far. However, he is being given healthy food here under the supervision of doctors and Davartisian. It has cheese, milk and right, as per the requirement. The officer told Hindustan Times that he was also seen offering prayers five times a day.

Connection with Pakistan, Dawood Ibrahim?
The NIA on Sunday closely analyzed dozens of phone conversations between Tahwwur Rana and her childhood friend and co-scriptor David Coleman Headley, also known as Dawood Geelani. These calls are now being used to connect the widespread conspiracy behind the 26/11 attacks. According to Times Now report, the agency has found a clue related to a person living in Dubai, which is believed to meet Rana at Headley’s request. In a recorded conversation, Headley was heard advising Rana not to travel to India in the 2008 autumn.
