What is Palanhar Scheme?
Under this Palanhar Yojana, the Rajasthan state government provides financial assistance per month to orphan, dependent and children belonging to poor class to get upbringing and education. This scheme was started in 2005. A decision was taken some time ago by the Chief Minister to increase the financial amount.
What is the eligibility of Palanhar Yojana?
- If you are an orphan then you will get benefits.
- The annual income of your family should not be more than 1.20 lakh.
- If your parents are divorced, then in such a situation also you will get the benefit of this scheme.
What are the benefits of Palanhar Yojana?
Under this Palanhar Yojana, the Rajasthan state government provides you financial assistance per month. This financial aid encourages you to study because of your adverse circumstances. Under this scheme, financial assistance of up to Rs 1500 is provided to those children whose age is less than 18 years. Along with this, you are also provided financial assistance once a year for dress and other essential things.

Ashok Gehlot ji has recently transferred the amount to the bank account of the beneficiaries of Palanhar Yojana. Under this scheme, the Chief Minister will transfer 87 crore, 36 lakh, 56 thousand, 750 rupees to the accounts of 5 lakh 91 thousand beneficiaries.

While presenting this year’s budget, the Rajasthan state government had announced that more money would be transferred to the accounts of the beneficiaries. After which the state government will transfer Rs 750 to the bank account of the children of the age group of 0 to 6 years from Rs 500 to Rs 750 per month. Same if your age is between 7 to 18 years then you will now be given Rs 1500 per month. Under this scheme, the Rajasthan state government has spent up to Rs 2516 crore so far.
