Minister of State for Sports Raksha Khadse said that India’s claim is not just an attempt to convey a message at the international level to host the Olympic Games to be held in 2036, but it is also a well -planned scheme to create world -class infrastructure, strengthen the economy and deal with social issues affecting the youth of the country.
38 -year -old Khadse, who had been a three -time Lok Sabha MP from Rawer constituency in Maharashtra, rejected the criticism in a special interview to PTI that the country should focus on making sports superpower before the country is aiming to host Olympics. He said in a conversation at his office here, “The preparation of hosting competitions like the Olympics 2036 Yarashtraandal Games 2030 means world -class infrastructure, economic investment and preparing a system that will benefit the players directly.”
Khadse said, “Sports are a way to deal with many problems such as depression and even drug addiction. Keeping all these things in mind, when you host competitions like Olympics, she acts as a motivational power for the society.
Khadse said, “It cannot be denied that we will give a message by hosting the Olympics.” This is an indication that you are a developed country. But at the same time, it also gives the youth an opportunity to lead as a nation-builder. ”He said that hosting sports and development of Indian sports should not be seen separately. The second woman and youngest Khadse to take charge of the Sports Ministry said, “We are making sure that every rupee spent should benefit the country in future.” ,

Everyone has to unite for this. Ministry, NSF and IOA cannot go in different directions, their goals should be the same. ,
There are differences between the Ministry and the IOA on the subject of autonomy. Khadse said, “Mansukh Bhai (Sports Minister Mansukh Mandavia) has spoken to all NSF and tried to understand their difficulties and issues. We are also working towards reducing litigation so that the administration is not harmed. Our aim is to ensure that the players get the best atmosphere. ”
On the problem of doping in India, the Minister of State for Sports said, “We want to start compulsory anti -doping education for players, coaches and parents. With this, we also want to test at the state and junior levels. Those who provide drugs or doping to minors should be punished under strict laws.
