The Intelligence Bureau (IB), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, has released a short notification for the recruitment of 4,987 Security Assistant/Executive (Group‑C) positions. Eligible candidates (10^th pass + domicile + local language) can apply online from 26 July to 17 August 2025 .

Pay Level	Level‑3 (₹21,700–₹69,100) + 20% SSA + CG allowances

✅ Eligibility & Age Limit

Qualification	Matric (10^th) pass; state domicile certificate; basic local language proficiency
Age (as on 17 Aug 2025)	18–27 years (SC/ST +5 yrs, OBC +3 yrs)

📝 Selection Process

Tier‑I: Objective CBT (100 questions/1 hour, –0.25 negative marking)
Tier‑II: Descriptive test + local language proficiency
Tier‑III: Interview / Personal Test
