A candidate can apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) IBPS RRB Recruitment and can also apply for the post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in the Officer cadre of IBPS RRB i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III. Candidates have to apply separately to IBPS RRB Recruitment and pay the fee/ intimation charges separately for each post. Candidates can apply online only. Age Limit

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years to 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born before 02.06.1993 and after 01.06.2003 (both dates inclusive).
  • Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years – Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born before 03.06.1991 and not later than 30.06.2003 (both dates inclusive).
  • Officer Scale-II (Manager): Above 21 years – Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born before 03.06.1989 and after 31.05.2000 (both dates inclusive).
  • Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years – Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born before 03.06.1981 and after 31.05.2000 (both dates inclusive).

IBPS RRB Recruitment 2021 Educational Qualifications

  • Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent
    (a) Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB*
    (b) Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
  • Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): i. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognised University or its equivalent preference will be given to candidates possessing degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy;
    ii. Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating RRB*
    iii. Desirable: Working knowledge of computers.
  • Officer Scale-II (General Banking Officer (Manager)): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks. Preference will be given to candidates having degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Fisheries, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy. Two years experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.
  • Officer Scale-II (Information Technology): Bachelor’s degree in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP etc. One year experience (in relevant field).
  • Officer Scale-II (Chartered Accountant): Certified Associate (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. One year experience as a Chartered Accountant.
  • Officer Scale-II (Law): Degree in Law or its equivalent from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks. Two years experience as an advocate or working as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of at least two years.
  • Officer Scale-II (Marketing): MBA in Marketing from a recognized University. One year experience (in relevant field).
  • Officer Scale-II (Treasury): Chartered Accountant or MBA in Finance from a recognized University/Institute. One year experience (in relevant field).
  • Officer Scale-II (Agriculture): Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Dairying/ Animal Husbandry/ Forestry/ Veterinary Science/ Agricultural Engineering/ Fisheries from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks. Two years experience (in relevant field).

How to apply:

  • A candidate can apply for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the post of Officer. However, in IBPS RRB Recruitment 2021 a candidate can apply for only one post in the cadre of Officer i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II or Scale-III.
  • Candidates have to apply separately and pay fee/ intimation charges separately for each post.
    Candidates can apply online only. No other mode of application will be accepted.
    Pre-requisites to apply online
    Before applying online, candidates should-

(i) Scan them There are some rules which you should keep in mind

  • Photograph (4.5cm × 3.5cm)
  • Signature
  • Left thumb impression (if a candidate does not have a left thumb, he can use his right hand)

    Thumb impression below the typed declaration (if not able to sign) and upload

(ii) Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS will not be accepted.

(iii) Left thumb impression should be properly scanned and not damaged

(iv) The text of the handwritten declaration is as follows –

Under no circumstances, candidate should share/mention e-mail ID to/with any other person. If a candidate does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he/she should create his/her new e-mail ID before applying online and maintain that email account. What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the page?

The speed for registration of online application over the internet is based on various factors like internet speed, large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time etc. So if you are not able to get the page for registration immediately, please try again after an interval of 15 minutes or during off-peak hours at night.

How will I know if my application is registered?

After clicking on the submit button successful registration is indicated by the page displayed indicating the generated “Registration No. and Password”. Please note it down carefully and keep it safe. If you do not keep it safe, you will not be able to re-print the application and download the call letter, result etc.

How do I reconfirm that my application has been saved?

In case of doubt about successful registration, candidates are advised to visit the page for re-print of application/e-receipt, generate a printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy.

Do I get a blank/null registration number after submitting the online application?

In rare cases, candidates may get zero (0) registration number with a valid password. Candidates are advised to re-register the application and check the printout through Re-Print Application.
