Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the collective recruitment of more than 60,244 policemen as a historic moment for the state. Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah handed over appointment letters to 60,244 newly elected candidates in Lucknow on Sunday. Chief Minister Yogi also credited the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi for converting the dreams of the youth of the state into reality. But after the formation of the BJP government in the state in 2017 and Yogi Adityanath became the Chief Minister, the Uttar Pradesh Police again moved towards touching new heights.
Shah lashed out at the opposition and said that till date the police force recruitments were on the basis of caste. But today all of you have been appointed due to transparency through technology. Today there are CCTV cameras, control rooms, command centers, PCR is one, more than 150 FSL units. All of you have to pursue it. I am confident that you will move forward with the mantra of security, service and sensitivity. He said that I am telling you about the Indian Penal Code, Indian Evidence Act and Civil Protection Act, today that in five years such a situation will arise in the country that if an FIR is registered, the citizen will get justice till the Supreme Court in three years.
