Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday dedicated development projects worth Rs 6700 crore to the nation at an event at the Sports Complex in Sigra in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. After this PM Modi addressed the public. During this, the PM accused the previous governments of the country of committing scams worth lakhs of crores of rupees and said on Sunday that till 10 years ago, these scams used to be discussed in the newspapers, but now only 125 days into the new tenure of the government led by him. There is talk in every house about work worth Rs 15 lakh crore starting within a day.
Narendra Modi said, ‘This is the change that the country wants. It is a big priority of his government that public money should be spent on the people, should be spent on the development of the country and should be spent with complete honesty. He said, ‘In the last 10 years, we have started a huge campaign to build infrastructure in the country and this campaign has two biggest goals. The first goal is to increase the facilities of the citizens through investment and the second goal is to provide jobs to the youth through investment. Today new highways are being built in the country. Railway tracks are being laid on new routes, new airports are being built.

PM Modi said that this is not just the work of bricks, stones and iron rods, but it is increasing the convenience of the people and the youth of the country are also getting jobs. The Prime Minister said, ‘Today is a very auspicious day for Kashi. I have just come to you after inaugurating a big eye hospital. With the blessings of Baba (Bholenath), the foundation stone of projects worth thousands of crores of rupees has been laid and inaugurated here. Today, different airports were inaugurated in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh. Apart from Babatpur Airport, it also includes Agra and Sarsawa Airport of Saharanpur.
The PM said that overall, Banaras has received projects in every field like education, skill development, sports, health, tourism and all these projects have brought facilities as well as many new employment opportunities for the youth. Addressing the public, Modi said, ‘When you ordered me to serve for the third consecutive time, I had asked to work at three times the speed. It hasn’t even been 125 days since the government was formed. In such a short time, we have started work on projects worth more than Rs 15 lakh crore in the country. Most of these budgets have been in the name of the poor, farmers and youth.

Modi dedicated to the nation 23 development projects worth Rs 6700 crore at an event at the Sports Complex in Sigra, Varanasi. Earlier, he reached Varanasi and visited R.J., run by Kanchi Math. Shankar Eye Hospital inaugurated. Among these projects, 16 development projects worth more than Rs 3,200 crore are for Varanasi. The Prime Minister also laid the foundation stone for the extension of runway, construction of new terminal building and allied works of Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi at a cost of approximately Rs 2870 crore.
