Rachin’s grandparents still live in Bengaluru and the player also visited them during his tour of India. Due to which Bengaluru is like his home ground. This is the second time that he has scored a century on this ground.
Apart from this, Rachin is only the fifth foreign player to have scored two centuries on the Bengaluru ground. Before him, only Australia’s Michael Clarke, Adam Gilchrist, Ricky Ponting and New Zealand’s Ross Taylor have been able to achieve this feat.
