The Champions Trophy is going to begin in Pakistan from 19 February. The tournament will be played in Pakistan and UAE. India will play all their matches in Dubai under the hybrid model. In fact, due to security reasons, India refused to send its team to Pakistan. Currently, the Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony took place in Lahore last Sunday. However, during this time the Indian flag was not shown at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and National Stadium in Karachi, which fans have questioned.
A video is going viral on social media in which all the teams taking part in the Champions Trophy are seen waving flags. But the Indian flag is not present there. Due to which Indian fans looked angry. The reason for not being in the Indian Flag Stadium has not been known, but some believe that Pakistan has done this stupid act over the Indian team’s decision to play their matches in Dubai. Fans have expressed their displeasure over this act of Pakistan.
The ICC Champions Trophy will start from February 19 and the first match will be played between Pakistan and New Zealand. India will play all its matches in Dubai. According to the ICC rule, the host country has to put flags of all part countries during the multinational tournament. But all the eight teams who participated in the tournament in Karachi did not show only the flag of India.
The matches of teams like New Zealand, South Africa, Afghanistan, Pakistan and England will be held at the National Stadium in Karachi. Earlier, a similar video was also revealed from the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, claiming that the stadium does not have an Indian flag.
