A student of Indian origin in America died a few days before the completion of his graduation from a hotel balcony in Bahamas. Gaurav Jaisingh was a student of Bentley University in Walthum, Massachusetts and went to Bahamas for a trip to take place every year with college students. Meanwhile, he died on Sunday.
Jai Singh’s graduation was scheduled to complete at the end of this week. Bentley University said in a ‘post’ on the social media platform ‘X’, “The last few days have been very difficult and our community is very sad about the death of Gaurav Jaisingh (25). Our condolences are with Gaurav’s family and friends. We are planning to honor Gaurav at the graduate convocation to be held on 17 May. ”
According to a report by ‘ABC News’, Bentley University said in a statement, “We have deep condolences with Gaurav’s family, friends and loved ones. Local officials are investigating. It seems that Gaurav accidentally fell from the balcony.
It said, “We will share related information by respecting the privacy of his family. This is a huge tragedy for our community…. “” ABC News “reports that Jaisingh was a native of Shruzbari of Massachusetts and Delta Sigma Pai was a fraternity as well as a member of the institute’s South Asian Students Union.
The ‘Royal Bahamas Police’ force said in a statement that on May 11, the police started an investigation into the case of a man’s death on ‘Paradise Island’. According to initial reports, the police said that around 10 pm, the student was with other students in their hotel room. He told that he probably fell accidentally from the balcony and was found in a unconscious state on the lower floor. Police said that he was being taken to the hospital but died on the way. The investigation of the incident is going on.
