Actually, there was commotion between the three teams regarding Bhuvi. Three teams bid for him one after the other and the base price of Rs 2 crores soon reached above Rs 8 crores. In the end, RCB got success and included him in their team.
Mumbai Indians made the first bid for Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Soon after this, Lucknow Super Giants team also jumped into the auction. Lucknow Super Giants team took the bid to Rs 10 crore. After this Mumbai paused a bit, however, they increased the bid to 10.50. After this the RCB team made a bid of Rs 10.75 crore. This was the bid for Bhuvneshwar Kumar and he became a part of RCB.
Bhuvneshwar used to play for Sunrisers Hyderabad last year till 2025. But this time Hyderabad released him. Hyderabad did not show interest in him even in the auction. After which he came to the RCB camp. However, after Bhuvi’s departure from Hyderabad, SRH fans are missing him a lot.
