The US has said that it is ‘encouraging’ that its ‘intervention’ stopped with “almost full -scale war” between India and Pakistan. Foreign Ministry spokesman Tammy Bruce told dialogues on Thursday, “…. There has been a generational concern about violence and terrorism in that region with problems between India and Pakistan. There has been agreed on the ceasefire. ”

Bruce said, “We know that there were complete chances of wars on a full -scale war and what is very encouraging is that it was stopped and a ceasefire which is going on.” But of course, as the world again saw that it has not been resolved. The possibility of solving these long -term problems is back. ”

He said this in response to a question asked on relations between America and India and a question on terrorism that thrives in Pakistan. Bruce said, “The good news is that some other areas have been commitment to the ceasefire.”

After the horrific terrorist attack on April 22 in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, India launched Operation Sindoor by targeting the terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir.

After India’s action, Pakistan tried to attack Indian military bases on 8, 9 and 10 May. In return, the Indian Army had attacked several Pakistani military establishments. After four days of cross -border drones and missile attacks, India and Pakistan agreed on the ceasefire on 10 May.

US President Donald Trump has repeatedly claimed that his administration has medically meditated between India and Pakistan. However, sources in the Government of India have said that it was agreed to stop military actions between the Director General of Military Operations of India and Pakistan with immediate effect. He has clearly stated that there was no third party.
