America’s newly elected President Donald Trump will take oath on January 20. India was represented at his swearing-in ceremony by External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar is going to do it. The Foreign Ministry gave this information on Sunday.
A statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs said that on the invitation of the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar was elected as the 47th President of the United States of America by President Donald J. Will represent the Indian government at Trump’s swearing-in ceremony.
The statement further said, ‘During the visit to Washington, the External Affairs Minister (Jaishankar) will also hold meetings with representatives of the future US administration as well as some other dignitaries visiting the US to attend the swearing-in ceremony.’
On the invitation of the Trump-Vance Inaugural Committee, External Affairs Minister, Dr. S. Jaishankar will represent the Government of India at the Swearing-in Ceremony of the President-Elect Donald J. Trump as the 47th President of the United States of America.

Trump will take oath on January 20
Donald Trump will take the oath of office in front of the Capitol building in a ceremony conducted by the Chief Justice of the US Supreme Court. After this he will give his inaugural speech. Outgoing President Joe Biden will attend the event and witness the transfer of power. Let us tell you, Trump, who was defeated in the 2020 presidential elections, did not attend Biden’s swearing-in ceremony.
