Farooq Abdullah said that there is a need to start a new tour of tourism here. All efforts are being made to revive tourism. Abdullah told reporters in Baba Nagari in Ganderbal district of Jammu and Kashmir, “It is a good thing that Amarnath pilgrims will come. A maximum number of pilgrims should come so that the message should be sent that there is peace here (in Kashmir).” He said that the damage done to Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack can be reduced by the peaceful Amarnath Yatra.
Abdullah, who came to attend the annual Urs in Baba Nagari, said that he prayed for peace in the country. He said that I prayed for peace in the country, better future for our youth and the end of the environment of hate, which we are passing by.
