Of which Irfan Ansari of Congress, Ahmed Hussain of Jharkhand People’s Party, Arif Ansari of BSP, Lakhanlal Mandal of CPI(M), Sita Soren of BJP, Kuldeep Yadav of Hindustan People’s Party (Democratic), Tarun Kumar Gupta from Jharkhand Loktantrik Krantikari Morcha. , Baleshwar Mandal from the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP).

This seat comes under Dumka district. It is part of Dumka Lok Sabha constituency. Let us tell you that Jamtara has always been in the news regarding fraud cases. According to the 2011 census, the population here was 29,415. Of which 89 percent were Hindus and 10 percent were Muslims. The literacy rate of Jamtara is 63.73 percent.

According to Election Commission data, there are 1,65,820 voters in Jamtara region during the 2019 assembly elections. Out of which 83,310 are male voters and 81,723 are female voters. In the year 2014, the number of voters in this assembly constituency was 1,91,876. Out of which 99,704 were male voters and 91,424 were female voters.
