Congress leader Rahul Gandhi said on Saturday that there is a war of ideologies going on in the country. He said that on one hand there is the India faction which stands for love, unity and protection of the Constitution and on the other hand there are BJP-RSS people who are trying to divide. Addressing a public meeting here today, Rahul Gandhi urged the people to bring the JMM-led alliance back to power. He said that Congress and its allies will continue to work to protect the Constitution.

Rahul said that once I saw that Narendra Modi was hesitant in meeting the poor children standing behind the wire. The Prime Minister of India does not go to the poor, farmers, Dalits, backward people and tribals. He never went to any poor person’s wedding, but went to Ambani’s wedding. This goes to show: They’re not yours, they’re theirs. He said that today the truth is that youth and women in India are unhappy. Modi ji only makes big speeches and does nothing. When inflation increases in the country, our mothers and sisters get hurt the most. Narendra Modi has added GST on everything. The entire tax structure is a way of taking money from the poor people of the country.
The Congress leader said that there are about 50% OBC, 15% Dalit, 8% tribal and 15% minority community people in the country. But you will not find a person from OBC, Dalit and tribal class in the management of big companies of the country. He said that we call you ‘tribal’, but BJP calls you ‘forest dweller’. Adivasi means first owner of the country. Whereas being a forest dweller means that you have no rights in the country. They are slowly snatching your forests from you. But we want that you have the first right on water, forest and land, you should get the benefit of it.
Rahul Gandhi challenged and said that I have clearly told Modi ji – you cannot stop the caste census. We will pass the caste census in this very Parliament and break the wall of 50% in reservation. In Jharkhand, we will give 28% reservation to tribals, 12% to Dalits and 27% to backward classes. He said that there is a fight between two ideologies in the country. On one side is INDIA alliance and on the other side is BJP and RSS. On one side there is love, unity, brotherhood and on the other side there is hatred, violence, anger and ego. INDIA alliance talks about protecting the Constitution, while BJP-RSS wants to destroy the Constitution.

The Congress leader said that we did ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, the objective of which was to connect India. Whereas Narendra Modi, RSS-BJP people divide India. They fight one religion against another, one language against another. He said that we fought the British and gave the country a constitution so that the people could be protected. My message to you is: The people of the country, the Congress Party and the INDIA alliance will continue to protect the Constitution. He said that Narendra Modi and people of BJP-RSS want to abolish the Constitution. But… we will continue to protect the Constitution and will not let them even touch the Constitution.
