There is a possibility of tension in business relations with India’s Turkas and Azerbaijan, as these two countries have supported Pakistan and condemned India’s recent attacks on terrorist bases there. After their support to Pakistan, there is a demand to boycott Turki goods and tourism across the country.

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced that it has canceled a memorandum with Inonu University in Türkiye. In a post on X, JNU said that the decision has been taken due to national security reasons. The university’s X post further stated that JNU stands with the nation. Due to national security reasons, the Memorandum of Understanding between JNU and Inonu University, Türkiye has been suspended until next notice.

There is a possibility of tension in business relations with India’s Turkas and Azerbaijan, as these two countries have supported Pakistan and condemned India’s recent attacks on terrorist bases there. After their support to Pakistan, there is a demand to boycott Turki goods and tourism across the country. In addition, online travel platforms like Ezmitrip and Ixigo have issued consultation against the visit to these countries. In fact, Indian businessmen have also started boycotting products such as Turk’s apples and marble. India started ‘Operation Sindoor’ on May 7 to destroy nine terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir after the Pahalgam terror attack in Kashmir on 22 April.

After this, the attack by Pakistan was responded to under ‘Operation Sindoor’. India and Pakistan had announced the consent to stop all kinds of firing and military operations on land, wind and sea from 5 pm last Saturday evening. During the conflict, Pakistan used Turk’s drone in its unsuccessful attempt to target Indian military establishments. Turkas and Azerbaijan, both countries have criticized India’s attack on terrorist bases in Pakistan and its occupied Kashmir.
