Jyoti Malhotra: Pakistani friend is ISI agent, what new revealed in laptop investigation

Jyoti Malhotra, who hails from Haryana, fully knew that the Pakistani authorities whom he was in contact with was associated with the infamous spy agency Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) of Pakistan, but he did not show any fear or hesitation. The disclosure was made during a forensic investigation of its digital equipment after his arrest on charges of spying for Pakistan by Haryana Police. The investigation has revealed that 33 -year -old Malhotra had a direct communication with four Pakistani intelligence agents. These include a person named Danish, from which he was allegedly met during the visit to Pakistan High Commission in Delhi, as well as Ahsan and Shahid. Investigators are currently working to confirm the specific roles and positions of these individuals at the Pakistani security establishment.

Police had first seized Malhotra’s phone and laptop. While several files and messages were removed, forensic experts managed to recover 12 terabyte data. Initial analysis indicated that Malhotra fully knew that she was talking to ISI operatives and decided to maintain a relationship despite this. Malhotra runs a travel Vlogging channel with more than four million subsidies, but a case has been registered under the official privacy act and related sections of the Indian Justice Code for activities considered to be a threat to unity, sovereignty and integrity of India. Investigators say that further allegations can also be lodged after investigating more evidence.

His wasteful lifestyle had already raised the alarm bell, as his ways of spending were more than his declared income. Officials suspect the involvement of foreign funding, and the Haryana Police is expected to contact central agencies to help find out the source of money. Malhotra was arrested on 15 May, when India launched retaliation in Pakistan and Pakistan -occupied Kashmir in response to the terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22 April, killing 26 people. She was under investigation due to her recent visits to Pakistan and China, attendance in high-profile programs and performance of luxury.
