In the southern African city of Johannesburg, a meeting of G20 Foreign Ministers is going on. It is natural to see diplomatic circles on it if two important, powerful and neighboring countries of Asia, China and India, if they meet different, then it is natural to see diplomatic circles. The meeting of Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi is being seen in both countries with hope. According to the Indian Foreign Ministry spokesperson, in this meeting, the two leaders have held a meaningful discussion about Kailash Mansarovar Yatra along with direct flights between India and China. Its impact will be seen in the summer of this year, when the Indian devotees go on a trip to Kailash-Mansarovar. It is to be noted here that Ever since the mutual relationship between the two countries came, the Kailash-Mansarovar Yatra has stopped. The beginning of this journey has deep meanings. This means that Indian devotees will not only travel to their pilgrimage site, will also take the message of harmony globally.
How important the Indian Foreign Minister’s meeting with China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi can be gauged from the fact that Indian Foreign Minister S Jaishankar himself wrote on the social media platform X. S Jaishankar wrote that before the meeting of G20 Foreign Ministers in Johannesburg, there was an opportunity to meet CPC Polit Bureau member and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

Also read: ‘Somebody wakes up everyday…,’ Jaishankar told a lot to the interim government of Bangladesh, asked- what kind of relationship do you want to have a relationship.

Significantly, before this, the two leaders met in Brazil on 18 November 2024 and discussed about moving forward on mutual relations. Only after this, the chances of melting of snow in the relationship between the two countries were increasing. Its impact appeared for the first time in January this year, when Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Mistry visited China on 26 and 27 January and met Chinese officials. Referring to this, Indian Foreign Ministry spokesman Randhir Jaiswal said that the two ministers, especially during this meeting, laid special emphasis on peace and harmony management in the border areas. Along with this, along with establishing peace in the border areas of the two countries, there was a discussion on the restoration of connectivity through Kailash Mansarovar Yatra, direct flight and increasing the convenience of mutual travelers of both countries.
By the way, the role of working at the ground level towards improving mutual relations between the two countries and melting to the new century in line with the new century in October last year, in October Kazan, Chinese President Xi Jinping and Mutual meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Started being made with. Since then, China and India have started understanding their global presence and importance. Perhaps this is the reason why the foreign ministers of the two countries in Johannesburg also discussed the G20 in a mutual meeting, whose two have gone to attend the meeting. Along with this, there was an ideological exchange about the very important Shanghai Cooperation Organization for themselves.
Kailash Mansarovar Yatra is going to start in the summer of 2025 after mutual discussion between the two foreign ministers. But what will be the mechanism of the journey and what will be its methods, there is no talk at the final level yet. However, it is believed that officials of both countries will discuss about this together and soon the last level will be reached to create a system. It is also to be noted here that KMY is organized by India through Lipulekh and Nathu La Pass in Uttarakhand every year between June and September. It should also be noted that direct flights between the two countries were stopped due to the 2020 Corona epidemic and some other reasons. It is believed that after the meeting of Jaishankar and Wang Yi, these blows will be started again. Before closing, there was movement of more than 1.25 lakh passengers on both sides through 539 straight flights every month between the two countries. It is believed that this service will start soon and now more passengers will have movement between the two countries every month.
