Way of selection (Mode Of Selection)
- Selection will be done on the basis of marks obtained in the General Recruitment Examination (CRT). “Direct recruitment to Uttar Pradesh junior level posts (interview closure) Rules 2017” (No. 4/2017/1/1/2017-C-2), no interview will be held as per 31 August 2017.
- Final Merit List: Final merit list will be prepared separately for all categories (ie General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, etc.) based on the marks obtained in CRT only and all qualified applicants will be ranked.
- When preparing a merit list for general (unreserved) category, all applicants (including reserved categories) will be taken into consideration, but when preparing the merit list for the reserved category, only the applicants of that category will be taken into account. The same method will be applicable in all reserved categories.

- Online application: Applications can only be submitted online on the website: www.kgmu.edu.in Registration: Click on “Registration for new users” to start the registration process, provide your name, date, date, date of birth, email ID and mobile number.
- Get credentials: After successful registration, you will get a password via SMS on your registered mobile number and a user ID via email. Sign in: Log in to fill the application form by clicking “Sign for existing users” and entering your user ID and password.

Educational qualification (Educational Qualifications)
- (i) BSc (Honors) Nursing/BSc Nursing from Institute or University, a recognized by the Nursing Council of India, or BSC (Post Certificate)/Post Basic BSC Nursing from BSC Nursing or University of India Nursing Council.
- (ii) Registered as a nurse and midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.* or
- (i) Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from Institute/University, a recognized by the Nursing Council of India.
- (ii) Registered as a nurse and midwife in the State/Indian Nursing Council.*
- (iii) Two years experience in a minimum 50 -bed hospital after obtaining the educational qualification mentioned in the above 2 (i).
