Earlier he was associated with Shiv Sena. He is also the President of Young Chanda Brigade, Chandrapur and Vidarbha Burud Samaj.

He completed his schooling from Chandrapur itself. He has been working for more than 14 years on various issues for the common people of Chandrapur district like providing relief to flood affected people. They are working in the field of providing education, employment, city development and all other common problems. The people of Chandrapur have also called him “people’s leader” for his social work. He has wide experience in the politics and social structure of the district. He has been the board director of Shri Kanyaka Nagari Sahakari Bank. He has played an important role in the upliftment of backward class youth. He is the President of Yuva Chanda Brigade, Chandrapur and Vidarbha Burud Samaj.
