West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said on Tuesday that there was a chance to capture PoK after the Pahalgam attack, as the armed forces showed valor. The West Bengal Legislative Assembly passed a resolution on the Pahalgam attack, praising the armed forces. Banerjee said that there should not be Pulwama before the election, which the BJP MLAs protested after his comments. Banerjee said, “My motherland is India. Vande Mataram, Jai Hind and Jai Bangla. Many people do not remember Bengal as motherland. We always express gratitude to our motherland. The freedom movement took place in Bengal. We cannot forget our motherland.” He said that I thank the Indian Army, Navy and Air Force. We salute them. I believe that terrorism has no religion and no one can be forgiven. “He told a leader why women do not fight. CRPF, BSF, CAPF and many lakh military personnel are there. Why not a single police officer was there? The terrorists involved should have been arrested.
