A court in Maharajganj district has sentenced the woman’s husband and her brother -in -law to life imprisonment in a seven -year -old case of dowry murder.
Additional District Government Advocate (ADGC) Sarveshwar Mani Tripathi said on Sunday that Additional District and Sessions Judge Pawan Kumar Srivastava on Saturday sentenced both the convicts Angad Yadav (32) and his sister -in -law Renu Devi to life imprisonment along with 35 A fine of 35 thousand rupees was also imposed.
Tripathi said that Tejam Devi (25) was married to Angad, a resident of Basadila of Kothihar police station in Maharajganj district. The victim’s father Barrister Yadav lodged a police complaint in October 2018 that Angad Yadav and his sister -in -law burnt to death by Angad Yadav and his sister -in -law.
