Sengaon taluka and 2. Hingoli taluka includes Malhiwara, Narsi, Hingoli revenue divisions and Hingoli municipality. Hingoli assembly constituency comes under Hingoli Lok Sabha constituency. At present Tanaji Sakharamji Mutkule of Bharatiya Janata Party is the current MLA of Hingoli assembly constituency.
2019 election results
The last winning candidate in the assembly elections held in 2019 was Tanaji Sakharamji Mutkule from BJP who won by 94,420 votes. Before this, MLA Matkule had also won the 2014 elections. Here, Bhaurao Baburao Patil from the Indian National Congress had secured second place by 70,646 votes but he lost the election. Vanchit Aghadi Dal leader Wasim Deshmukh had got 19,718 votes but he also could not win.
