Shinde important urban development Along with the ministry (UD), important ministerial posts for his party may also be assigned, which may include 10-12 cabinet posts. Ajit Pawar is expected to take over the role of DCM with the Finance Ministry and get the same number of ministerial berths for his party. BJP is likely to get a significant share in the cabinet, it is estimated that they may be given 20-22 ministerial posts.
However, a faction within the Shiv Sena believes that Shinde, who introduced the Laadli Behan scheme and performed well during his 2.5-year tenure, should get another chance as CM. This demand has created some tension, as Shinde’s supporters are advocating for his reinstatement to the top post.
After Eknath Shinde and Ajit Pawar were elected as leaders of their respective parties, an important meeting with the BJP leadership is expected to finalize the appointment of the CM. Despite these internal discussions, Devendra Fadnavis remains a strong contender for the role.
The final decision will depend on the outcome of these deliberations, as the political scenario in Maharashtra is about to go through another phase of significant power-sharing and coalition-building.
