New Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday that various festivals celebrated today and in the coming days are indicative of the sense of unity in the diversity of India. Modi urged people to strengthen this feeling. He said in the ‘Mann Ki Baat’ monthly program that various states are celebrating their traditional new year on Sunday and many other states will also celebrate it in the coming days.
Modi said that other festivals including Eid are also being celebrated. He congratulated the people on these festivals. He said that summer holidays are going to start in schools only after a few weeks and there are time for students to develop new hobbies and improve their skills.

The Prime Minister urged those who conduct various activities for the students to use ‘Myholidage’ hashtags and share their experiences with students and parents with “Holidaymory’s” hashtag.

In his address, Modi insisted on furthering the ‘Catch the Rain’ campaign by conserving water in various ways and said that more than 11 billion cubic meters of water has been saved in the last seven to eight years. He urged people to make yoga a part of his daily life and said that it is an invaluable gift for humanity from India.
Modi said that International Yoga Day, celebrated on 21 June, has now become a big festival. He said that this year the theme of this event is ‘Ek Earth, Yoga for One Health’.
