Names of 40 Naxal organizations should be disclosed: Yogendra Yadav said on Fadnavis’ statement

Latur. Social activist Yogendra Yadav asked Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to reveal the names of 40 Naxal organizations which allegedly took part in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’. His demand comes at a time when Fadnavis had alleged in the Assembly two days ago that out of 180 organizations that participated in the ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’, 40 were being targeted by Naxalites by the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) governments in Maharashtra and the Centre. Was declared a mask organization.
Addressing a press conference in Latur city of Maharashtra, the national convenor of ‘Bharat Jodo Abhiyan’ asked, “How can we be called Naxalites as followers of Mahatma Gandhi?” In response to a question, Yadav asked Fadnavis. Challenged to disclose the names of these organizations and clarify under which banner the alleged meeting was organized in Nepal.
The Chief Minister had also said that a meeting was held in Kathmandu on November 15 in which some organizations participating in the (Rahul Gandhi-led) Bharat Jodo Yatra had participated and the opposition to electronic voting machines (EVMs) and ballot papers in the states. Issues like implementation of the system were discussed. Yadav said the opposition alliance Maha Vikas Aghadi lost the assembly elections in Maharashtra because they failed to take a decisive stand on social and political issues after their impressive performance in the Lok Sabha elections.
“They lost the assembly elections badly because the opposition allies could not make a united strategy,” he claimed. Yadav said the ‘Bharat Jodo Abhiyaan’ is dedicated to protecting the Constitution and democracy. He said, “Today the foundation of the nation and democracy is under attack. Our ideology is enshrined in the Preamble of the Constitution, which is our guiding philosophy.” Yadav said, ”The campaign is not affiliated with any political party, but we will support those who can defeat the BJP.” He alleged It is alleged that the government is planning to make new laws to put social workers in jail.
